Ladies' Section News

Eligibility Rules update

Following some recent feedback, the Ladies Eligibility Rules for Ladies’ Trophy Competitions have been revised and will now come into effect from 1st June 2023 instead of 1st April to give additional time for anyone who has not got sufficient qualifying cards. In addition the 10 Qualifying Rounds criteria has been changed to a minimum of 4 x 18 hole cards, plus 6 of either 9 or 18 hole cards.

Please remember these can be both competition and general play cards.

The Ladies and Mixed rules can be found on the General News section of the website, with the Ladies Eligibility rules also available on the Ladies News section of the web site. A copy of each will be displayed in the locker room.

To enter a mixed competition the qualifying criteria will remain as 10 x 18 hole rounds in the 12 months prior to competition date.

Ladies' Friendly Match Information

All divisions and handicaps are welcome and it’s an excellent way to play a different course and spend time with friends.

The team format is usually 4BBB.  Wearing of club uniform is required.

All 2023 matches are now on Golf Genius and will be available for sign up from 1st February, so please have a look and add your name to all those you would like to have the opportunity to play and pop them in your own diary.

The team will be selected and notified 1 month before the match date. It is always hoped to see a healthy number of players, as reserves are always required to cover the inevitable last-minute changes.

We look forward to playing some lovely courses over the 2023 season and hope to see many of our ladies taking part whether at home or away.

All are welcome!!

The full list of Ladies’ Friendly match dates is below and sign up is via Golf Genius.

If you have any queries just give Joy Fraser (Ladies’ Vice Captain) a call or email her.
