36 holes of exceptional golf, set against the stunning backdrop of the New Forest.
The Manor Course
Boasting gently undulating fairways and supremely excellent greens, The Manor Course is widely renowned as being one of the finest and most testing courses in the South of England. First opened in 1971 and set amidst the beautiful New Forest, with a landscaped parkland of mature trees and 200 year old hardwood plantations, it is a challenging test for golfers of all abilities. And our top tip for shooting a good score? Careful shot selection is key!
The Forest Course
Our original course, now known as the Forest Course and understood to be the oldest in Hampshire, was built by local resident and landowner, Philip de Crespigny, for the entertainment of his weekend guests in about 1865. With its open aspects and rolling heathland, it is in complete contrast to the Manor Course but equally as magnificent. The ever-changing scenery of humps, hollows and meandering streams test golfing skills and, with the added quirky charm of New Forest deer, ponies and pigs roaming the fairways, your round is bound to be one which will be preserved in your memory for years to come.
